2010 Benefit Information -
2010 PEBB Statewide Medical Plan - Plan summary, provider directory, transition of care form and more!
In March 2009 the Public Employees' Benefit Board moved by unanimous vote to self-insure the statewide medical plan beginning 2010. The board chose this option to control costs while maintaining statewide access and has selected Providence Health Plan to administer the statewide plan.
What is self-insurance, and what does it mean to you? How will the transition to a self-insured plan affect you? What did the Board consider in selecting an administrator for the statewide, self-insured plan?
Visit the PEBB Statewide Plan website to view a Q & A on 2010 Medical Plans and a provider search. The benefit board's implementation team is continuously working with providers around the state to ensure the preferred-provider network meets member's ongoing healthcare needs. Providers are being added as contracts are put in place.
